Pawsa in the Park was Sona Worldwide\u2019s first festival of the season. And for ISG Security, it was a great start to what is shaping up to be a busy summer. More than 20,000 visitors gathered at Havenpark in Amsterdam for an evening headlined by Pawsa. It was a new venue for the organizers, but everything went off without a hitch from start to finish. <\/strong><\/p>\n

A new field, a familiar approach<\/h4>\n

Havenpark was a new venue for Sona Worldwide. That meant we had to pay extra attention during the planning phase to the site layout, visitor routing, and the positioning of our team. There was no standard plan to copy from the previous edition, but rather a fresh approach tailored to the park\u2019s specific characteristics and the expected visitor flows. <\/span><\/p>\n

Pawsa didn\u2019t start playing until 7:00 p.m. That had an immediate impact on how the peak moments were spread out throughout the day. At many festivals, you build up to a single clear highlight. Here, the crowds and the energy were distributed differently. That called for a team that could actively read the flow of the event and make adjustments where necessary, rather than simply manning a fixed position. <\/span><\/p>\n

All positions are fully staffed<\/h4>\n

ISG Security was present at all key locations. At the entrance, our staff were ready to handle the flow of visitors that began to arrive throughout the day. On the VIP deck, we operated in the Sona Worldwide style, where hospitality and security go hand in hand. At the VIP and guest entrances, our staff ensured a smooth flow of traffic without disrupting the experience for guests. And on and around the festival grounds themselves, we maintained an overview of the crowd and ensured safety around the stage. <\/span><\/p>\n

Working in the style of an organization like Sona requires more than just being present. It requires security guards who understand the type of audience that will be attending, the atmosphere of the event, and the image the organization projects. Our team fit right in. <\/span><\/p>\n

Everything went smoothly, and the atmosphere was great<\/h4>\n

An evening with 20,000 visitors at a new venue always involves unknown factors. The routing you\u2019ve mapped out on paper sometimes differs in practice from how visitors actually move. The staff you\u2019ve scheduled must be able to respond flexibly to what\u2019s actually happening. That\u2019s exactly where experience makes all the difference. <\/span><\/p>\n

The day went smoothly. No notable incidents, no bottlenecks at the entrances, and no disruptions on the grounds. The atmosphere was great, the audience was engaged, and the team was in the right place at the right time. <\/span><\/p>\n

More Sona editions this season<\/h4>\n

Pawsa in the Park was our first collaboration with Sona Worldwide this year. Several more Sona events will follow in the coming weeks. The groundwork we laid for this first event\u2014our understanding of the audience, our knowledge of the venue, and our collaboration with the organizers\u2014provides a solid foundation for what\u2019s to come. <\/span><\/p>\n
