The rapidly growing security organization, ISG Security Netherlands, is urgently looking for a full-time team leader for the Amsterdam region. Where will you be working? This allows us to carefully assign the right security personnel to the right location. Respect, risk assessment, and target group analysis are key principles in our approach, ensuring that our clients, staff members, event organizers, and retailers feel safe and comfortable on-site. We operate nationwide but are particularly active in and around the four major cities: Amsterdam, Utrecht, The Hague, and Rotterdam. What will you be doing? As the Security Team Leader, you will be responsible for coordinating and leading a team of security officers to ensure the safety of our clients. You will report to the Director of Operations, and your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Leading a team of security officers and overseeing their daily activities;
• Preparing work schedules and ensuring efficient staff planning;
• Ensuring compliance with company protocols and security procedures;
• Participating in security operations;
• Maintaining high standards of customer service and client satisfaction;
• Reporting incidents and conducting incident investigations;
• Guiding and developing security personnel;
• Collaborating with clients and internal teams to understand and address security needs.

Additionally, your responsibilities will include monthly meetings with the management team and a four-weekly on-call duty. Who are we looking for?

• A completed MBO diploma in security (or equivalent);
• A valid Security Officer Level 2 certificate or higher;
• At least 5 years of experience in the security sector;
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Preferably residing within a 25 km radius of Amsterdam;
• A proactive work attitude;
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in the security industry;
• Good command of Dutch and English.
